About the Role
As the Social Media Specialist, you’ll be the subject matter expert, playing a key role in shaping and delivering Peter Alexander’s social media presence across all platforms and global markets. You’ll collaborate with our Marketing, Online, and Product teams - and even Peter himself, to craft engaging content that supports both online and in-store campaigns. Working in a fast-paced environment, this role sits within the dynamic Online & Marketing team and is responsible for driving the brand’s engagement and performance across social media channels, including META (Facebook and Instagram), TikTok, Pinterest and LinkedIn.

Key Responsibilities
Content Creation & Management
- Execute the social media content calendar in line with marketing campaigns across all markets
- Create, source, and repurpose high quality content to drive engagement and interaction
- Schedule, post, and moderate across all social platforms to maintain a consistent and active presence
- Be the voice of Peter Alexander online - responding to customer comments and messages, fostering genuine community engagement and ensuring a positive brand experience
Paid Social Campaigns
- Plan, develop, and execute targeted paid social media campaigns designed to drive awareness, traffic and conversion
- Continuously optimise ads to maximise performance, ROI and audience reach across platforms
- Track, manage and report on campaign budgets to ensure accuracy and efficiency
Strategy & Innovation
- Stay ahead of emerging social media trends, platform updates and audience behaviours to keep our strategy fresh and forward-thinking
- Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to refine and evolve our social media approach, ensuring alignment with business objectives and strategy
- Bring creative ideas and innovative thinking to help the brand stand out in a competitive social landscape
Reporting & Insights
- Deliver regular reports on performance and translating data into clear, actionable insights
- Conduct competitor and industry analysis to identify opportunities, inform content direction and guide future strategy
- Use analytics to continuously refine content and campaign effectiveness
Who We’re Looking For
We are on the hunt for someone with 2+ years of experience in social media, that is passionate about online and retail, who has a creative mind and likes to look at the numbers as well.
- Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Digital Media or a related field
- Experience in retail (fashion is preferred but not essential)
- Experience & expertise in META Business Manager and platform analytics tools
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)
- Experience in video editing (Premier Pro or similar) would be beneficial
- Proactive with a high level of initiative and ability to multitask
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to adapt to change in priorities and work with a sense of urgency
- High level attention to detail
- Can do attitude with a willingness to learn
- Ability to work autonomously and be hands on
